All About After School Activities

In the past, hundreds of students have enjoyed our clubs and after-school activities.  Therefore, we strongly encourage students to take advantage of this year’s opportunities. We have many clubs and activities to choose from, and will try to offer any others you may suggest. Students must register for their activities by 1:45 p.m. on the day of their activity. Students who have not registered for an activity will not be allowed to stay at school for the activity period.

Activities will start at 3:20 and end at 4:25 P.M.  Activity buses will be available to take participants home and will leave Southwest Middle shortly after the conclusion of the activity period. Please note that the activity bus stops can vary from the student's normal stop. Missouri Central Bus Company buses will be available to take VST students home. All students riding the bus home will need to sign up for the bus when they sign up for their activity. If they did not sign up for their activity, they can not ride the bus home. A 5-minute warning announcement will be made to help. Students should enter the building and make their way to their mode of transportation. If they are riding a bus home, they should get on their color of bus and tell the driver their name so they are accounted for. If a student is staying for after-school activities, it is a requirement to have a way home by 4:25, whether that be a bus or a guardian. We hope to see all of you getting INVOLVED and having FUN!
